Mission Statement & Program Description:

The Center for Nutraceutical Studies (“CNS”) recognizes the growing need in the world for simple yet balanced nutritional supplementation in the battle against diet-related diseases and developmental syndromes, particularly among the elderly, pregnant mothers and infants. These conditions are becoming increasingly common in industrial countries where dietary habits and stress lead to increased instances of cancer and other diseases. These and other related diseases and conditions are particularly aggravated by stress, war, poverty, disasters and cultural traditions in developing countries which, when left untreated, can result in irreversible damage to the general health, emotional and development of these at-risk populations, as well as weakened immune systems unable to fight other pernicious diseases and parasites endemic to the third world.

CNS is committed to build awareness in the general population and medical professional community about the prevention of disease through the deliberate use of nutritional supplementations which are developed from naturally occurring organic substances combined and/or processed with naturally extracted minerals. These formulations, called nutraceuticals, have been demonstrated to have potent disease-fighting characteristics as well as to provide important mineral and anti-oxidant supplementation to existing diets.

Further, CNS will work directly with medical and international scientific institutions to formulate nutraceuticals tailored to address specific diseases and conditions, and supply these directly to private and governmental organizations in powder, tablet or other forms for at-risk displaced or refugee populations to limit the effects of malnutrition, stress and disease.

CNS believes that by working with the medical community to develop and deliver nutraceuticals to populations most vulnerable to disease and malnutrition, it will be assisting physicians throughout the world to care for these people by preventing many of the conditions and diseases which afflict the developing world today.

CNS is committed to helping others...to help the world.

PROGRAMS:

CNS has initiated two primary programs to meet its mission both in industrial and developing countries: Physicians Outreach International and the Population Survey Project.
