Studies & Projects:

Turn Cancer Around

Population Survey Project: PSP is a project of CNS to conduct collaborative studies and research by the public and private sectors to establish bench-mark studies and surveys regarding the ability of certain formulations of naturally-occurring substances called nutraceuticals to reduce or prevent certain life-style and environmentally induced diseases. Such diseases include cervical cancer, certain colon and skin cancers and digestive/metabolic disorders.

PSP joins together U.S. and foreign medical institutions and physicians to establish study protocols, structure surveys, analyze data and oversee the projects using strict scientific methodologies and coordination with government health agencies.

The first PSP charter grant is to the National Nutraceutical Research Institute to undertake a double-blind 500-patient study on the efficacy of ellagic acid on the reduction of the human papallioma virus and the resulting incidence of cervical cancer, its related disease. In a related study, a PSP national survey is being conducted of over 1,000 physicians and patients on their use of ellagic acid and the observable benefits and side effects of its measured use. A sister project is being planned in Madrid, Spain through the University and Health Ministry.

Physicians Outreach International: POI is a program chartered by CNS to forge partnerships between the public, private professional medical communities to help physicians in developing countries provide care, diagnosis and treatment to refugees and dislocated pregnant mothers and at-risk children suffering the effects of stress, infections and insufficient diet resulting from poverty, war, famine and civil strife. Using state-of-the-art communications and satellite video conferencing, physicians in medical universities and hospitals anywhere in the world can link through the internet or direct satellite uplinks to help other physicians diagnose diseases, assist in procedures and order pharmaceuticals and nutraceuticals.

The first POI partnership is between Medical University of South Carolina, Shelter for Life and 21st Century Nutraceuticals to establish a distance diagnosis network for the Sahrawi physicians in the Western Sahara refugee camps in the Sahara Desert. A second project is being developed in north Tajikistan to restore medical care after their protracted civil war.
